CREATE A RADIO PROGRAMME
If you are interested in pursuing a career in the media, then a recognised NCFE Level 2 qualification will provide evidence to employers in the industry of your learning to support your portfolio.
You will be guided through the process of creating a radio programme whilst developing your skills and understanding of radio programme production.
Fundamental skills in creating ideas for content and recording a programme will support those looking to enter a career as a broadcast assistant, producer or presenter.
Understand different radio stations, audiences and scheduling
Be able to develop ideas for radio content
Be able to develop programme planning skills
Be able to record and evaluate a radio programme
Students will create a portfolio of work to evidence their learning for assessment.
The Create a radio programme course will attract a certificate worth 5 credits and is the foundation unit of a full NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Radio which a learner may wish to extend their learning and complete.
Accredited by the qualifications regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
This qualification is designed for learners aged pre-16 and above who wish to develop technical skills and knowledge in Radio in order to advance into employment or further learning.
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification.

The course will be run over 12 sessions and prices start from £125 per student.
